Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan
Spent the afternoon at Michigan City (IN) yesterday. It's about the only place you can sail a strong westerly on the southern 2/3 of Lake Michigan. By late afternoon the onsite station was reading 33~40 knots. Waves were gnarly since there was a NW swell coming in along with the W swell from the building wind. Very confused (and BIG) chop outside, and really nasty shorebreak that was tough to break through. I posted a few pictures :-)
Great pics Drew! The wide-angle lens tends to flatten the water, so there must have been some good size swell.
