Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

Tonight, Thursday May 31/12. The wind finally picked up around 6pm, (We have been anticipaitng a good blow for the last 2 days, although I did sneek in a 7.5 session for an hour on Tuesday afternoon). Brooke called from home said it was beginnning to cap, hot damn. Now load up and off to the foot of Lesperance and Riverside Drive. Brooke was rigging 6.5 I folowed suit and Ann on a 6.0, We all had a great powered up hour and a half as dusk grew near and the storm edged closer, back home to hot tub and beer!!! This morning it is still blowing hard but raining just as hard, hopefully that will pass soon but it doesn't sound that way, by the time the storm ebbs sounds a s though the wind will as well, but there's allways tomorrow!!
