Good karma from O'Neill Wetsuits so I got to pass this along
My O'Neill Boost drysuit was purchased in April, 2010 used at least 20 times, definitely not enough wear to justify this problem.
Sent it in for repairs in mid-august due to a leak in the vinyl near the zipper.
It turns out that the vinyl material between the zipper and neck seal was leaking not the zipper itself.
At first they told me it was un-repairable but after diplomatic back and forth banter they admitted it was a common problem and they would replace the suit at no cost. Even though it was purchased in April 2010.
I haven't received a new one yet but they promise it before October.I know a few of you were complaining about the same leaks so I am passing this on to you FYI.
Shipping address for repairs:
O'Neill Wetsuits
1022 Bay Marina Drive
National City, CA 91950
See Website: http://www.oneill.com/#/men/americacanada/company/wetsuit_warranty_... for shipping information.
Or take it to Seaside dive shop on Harper in St Clair Shores - authorized O'Neill service center and they will recommend what to do with it. They were very helpful to me.
The thin white area between neck and zipper was leaking - if you put a flashlite on the outside it would shine through the white vinyl material. If you try to fix it yourself in may void the warranty.
