I'd be willing to help out as part of a group. I really liked your map when I first came across it and started my own with a handful of launches in the Eastern Upper Peninsula.
Thanks, Scott. Yours is a great example of what this map is about, i.e., I have little idea where the good spots are in the eastern half of the UP.
I don't know where we'll end up going with this in terms of providing editing rights, but for now, send me your Gmail address either via this site's email or to firstname.lastname@example.org, I'll grant write access, and we'll give this a try.
There's a couple of ways to add the sites from your map:
The import info's. a bit dated. It appears that one must add a new layer, e.g., "E. UP," and then import the data into that layer. Once it's imported, you can drag-n-drop the points to rearrange them or move them into another layer, perhaps combining all UP sites into one layer - we can change that later if it's too many.
You can either try this yourself, or send me the export file (.kml). I just downloaded the data from the current map, so I can rebuild it if something goes really bad.
