Started on a 5.0n at 9 am and 92 ltrs switched down to 4.6 and 85 for another 2 hours. I could have switched down again but my foot was killing me. Maybe tomorrow morning as well. Lots of kiters sitting on shore, didn't bring small enough stuff I guess.
Gusty day on Lake Buttcrack (Lansing). Switched back & forth between the 4.7Ezzy & 90 Lt RRD and the 5.5 Ezzy and the 110 Lt RRD. Huge gusts and big holes! Great to be on small stuff. Sailed w/out a wetsuit and was great until the cold-front passed then I froze. Will post some pics later today.
I can't believe how steady St. Clair was yesterday for a change. Check out wind yesterday on St. Clair on I windsurf.com between noon and 4pm,,, steady 30mph straight across, very rare! We are headed back out again today it's blowing 23 right now and should hold for a while but the NW directiuon tends to be gusty here again.

A bunch of us sailed Metro Beach. There were a few holes, but the wind stayed strong until dark? The sail size ranged from 3.2 to 4.7 (that was my smallest). Great day (except for the weeds)
We got out about 9:30 rigged a 6.0 and 5.5 got in a few good runs but the wind was ebbing so,,, back home to the hot tub and peppermint patties (hot chocolate and white creme deminthe) .

Don, a bunch of us got up early on Sat and headed to Blue Lagoon. Chris Lyons was on the water early with a 6.2 and had a great session. The wind died off by about 12:30pm and then picked up again in the afternoon for a while. It was up and down. I schlogged on a 6.5 and should have been on a 7.5.
