Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan
Vintage (early 80's) O'Brien Freesail "Sensation" complete windsurfer, in surprisingly good condition. Located east of Lansing in Williamston.
Board: indestructible molded plastic, 11'-9" long X 26" wide
Mast: one piece fiberglass, 15' long
Boom: ties to mast (no clamp), but a little ingenuity can fix this
Sails: made of dacron (very durable)
1 small size & 1 large size
Dagger board & fin shown in picture
Mast foot: mechanism that clamps into the board needs some modification
to use a standard Chinook rubber joint.

Hey Ross,
Awesome and Generous post. I'd love to be the new owner of your vintage windsurfer, if it's still available. I'm getting my feet wet after along time away from the water and this is what I learned on oh so many years ago.
Please let me know if its still available.
Sincerely
Michele Ransom
Hello Michele
I'm sorry for not getting back to you. I gave the equipment to a young guy (around 20 yrs old) who was very excited about learning to sail. Hopefully, he spent last summer tooling around on Lake Lansing. I've since moved from that area to Marshall MI where I'm scouting out nearby lakes. So I can't give you a windsurfer, but isn't it nice to see someone under 40 taking interest in the sport!
