Michigan Windsurfing

Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

We had another big (huge) day at Rondeau last Saturday. We arrived Saturday morning to some honkin winds. Annabel rigged up her trusty 92ltr blast and a 5.0 while I a 85ltr carve and a 5.5. Wow very rare for me to get down to 85ltrs around this end of the pond. Anyway we sailed prety much all afternoon various degrees of powered to slightly over,, Camped in the park till Wednesday and sailed 4 out of five days (planning albeit bigger stuff except yesterday and Saturday. Did I mention the kiter that did the spectacular jump but very bad landing on Saturday? He came out complaining about twisting his back on the landing,, unfortunatley turned out to be a couple of broken ribs from what the clinic trip revealed.  Oucchhhh!!    Don
