Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan
Metro Beach Session Friday 5-14-10
About a dozen or so Windsurfers showed up for the forcasted 15-20 west wind at LSC's Metro Beach.
Rigs ranged from 5.0 sails to the big boys on their 7.5 sails.
Generally very up/down wind conditions with 5-30 mph west winds until Millard left - then a steadier WSW-WNW wind appeard with a good SW swell setup for about and hour before the wind shifted to NW and offshore.
Overall a loggable Metro Beach session.

I heard from little bird that it was better than good, later in the afternoon. (I was the sacrifice because I had to be out at MI Int'l Speedway all weekend.)
Is that your own link to the Metro Windtalker?

Thanks for the sacrifice.
I can download data via an unreliable phone linkup to the MB Weathertalker.
Weathertalker is very old technology working with phone modems.
Current Windows Version working with 5.0 DOS on the Weathertalker end along with a very noisy line connection.

Little bird? Well I guess I did go on about how great it was! I thought the winds were great and the swells were very nice. I guess I got there at the right time...sometimes procrastination pays off!
