Michigan Windsurfing

Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

MetroBeach July 16,

Intermittent westerlies were enough for a fun 1.5 hour session on butter smooth 80 degree water with a 85 degree hot sunny afternoon..

Sailed the Panther 6.0 with the big floaty 109 RRD FSW, several others on 6.5s on up.

Several kiters were also having a good time, I suspect the winds were steadier for the kiters.

Pulled off some of my best duck jibes ever in the butter smooth inside conditions.

Between gusts worked on light wind manuvers, nose tack and push tacks.

Overall all an unexpected quality session with planning moves and some light wind free style practice.
