Have you guys been to Mitchell's Bay yet?? South west winds are straight on shore. No launch fees and grassy rigging area. no entry fees. If it gets really big tomorrow a few of us will be sailing there. Waist deep pretty much everywhere. I think you need a weed fin there, though they aren't really bad. Hopefully the thunderstorms will move off early
This afternoon at 4pm I was packing my 4.0 and 85ltr Carve for MB in the morning,,, Now after the 8pm update,,????? guess we'll have to see what the morning forecast brings, one thing windsurfing teaches is patience. (as well as a bit of frustration.) Oh well, glad I cleared my schedule for the torrentail rains tomorrow, besides my foot is still not at 100%.
On St. Claire just south west of Wallaceburg. Great spot through the week but it's choked with kiters on the weekends. It works really well on strong SW and as you do your port jibe there is a sand spit at the surface on that side on which you can do some amazing hero jibes on the lee side flat as it gets and hip deep everywhere kinda like Hatteras
