<p>I would suggest you find out where people sail near you. Head up there on a windy day, preferably a sunny Saturday or Sunday and bring your stuff. Hopefully there will be some people there sailing. A person with some knowledge of old mistral equipment can show you a lot in 10 or 15 min. and if they see you struggling getting set up I'm sure they'll stop and help.
