Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan
Out to Mitchell's Bay around 10 am today, rig up a 5.5 and suddenly the wind begins
to ebb,,
A couple of kiters show and we sit for a bit until one says I am going to try it,
maybe it's doming and the wind is up
high.
I watch the guy go out and the wind is gettting lighter and lighter after about half
an hour, we begin to see some
improvement so I rig a 6.5 wander out and slog one run and then it kicks,,
Good powered up sailing for an hour and a half until I could no longer feel my feet,
and decided to call it a day as I
have relatives coming in today from out of town and it's a good hour ride back
home.
All in all not a bad day, not as great as my birthday but certainly not a Black
Friday, especially on Nov 25 2011

Hey Don,
Glad you got it over on your side of LSC.
It actually got lighter through out the day, even to light for the kiters.
Jeanie rigged a 5.5 during a puff but it was all downhill after that.
Maybe the St Clair River Saturday....
Yeah, because of the direction, we couldn't really tell what the wind was doing out on the water, so a half dozen of us stood around and probably missed the short session we could have had.
I'll say it again, nobody gets as much TOW as Don Fergson!
