Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan
We arrived at the site around 10 after the rain ebbed but the wind ebbed a bit as well leaving me no choice but rig up the old standby Hucker 6.6. Half an hour later things began to get interresting as I started to get seriously overpowered. Quick re rig another sail to 6.0 Annabel will be off work around noon and the same for Brooke. Brooke arrived first and already I was down on 5.5 I came in and like a good husband rigged the 5.0 for my soon to arrive spouse or,, if it kept building myself. Brooke and I sailed some very strong 5.5 conditions for a while Annabel was waylaid a the office again and was a bit late but still able to get a few good runs in on the 5.0 before the wind began to die off again. We no sooner derigged than it began to rain. We dashed back to the house and were soon afterward followed by Lucie, Brooke and Richard, nice hot tub sesshon and on to some very good red wine compliments of our guests as well as Hors d'oeuvres compliments of Lucie. Good day for St. Clair a bit gusty at times though!
Below the derig session and the truck ready to go in the morning!
