Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan
I was at a yard sail and found a board and a mast, but no sail handle, missing fin and rear rudder.
can i get parts for this still?? is it worth anything, or do i let the kids play with it in the pond?

This is a 'collectors item' and would only be worth the 'romantic' value to someone who might have used this as a first board. Not sure, but I doubt that there are parts available - except in another yard sale somewhere.
The technology has changed so much in the past thirty years!

If no one knows here, you can post those pic's on the iwindsurf forum. Someone will know what that board is.

It has the same mast base attachments as my friend's first bic one design board from 1988. The deck is a little different, but I think Bic is in France. It may be an older model of his board. I will do some more looking around.

I was right, it is the original Bic windsurfer. Go to the link here or to the history section on the Bic website.

Nice trip down memory lane. Thanks.

Here is a link to the same board with a sail for sail for $75. It has no boom. It is called the Bic DuFour.
