Congrat's to Pam Levy who was crowned Queen of the Cape at the East Coast Windsurfing Festival. Pam carries as much stoke as anyone I know.

Check out this high school course at Forest Hills Eastern, in Ada, MI. In Gone Boarding students learn to surf, long board, paddle board, snowboard. While also learning how to make a surf board and ski's or a snowboard.
Might not be college prep, but sure looks like fun.

According to The Windsurf Loop blog, Michigan's own Pam Levy did the Mitt proud at the ECWF - Cape Cod, by taking second place in the Women's Freestyle division. Pam's become an ABK devotee (not Pam's words) and I guess it's paid-off. Congrat's Pam!

Since we haven't been blessed with much wind, and I haven't been blessed with any free time, I'm sitting here grading papers and Jonesing to get wet, and ran across Shawna Cropas' recent post about some of the Rocking Windsurfers that she's met.

The shop rents SUPs, kayaks and offers kiteboarding lessons, as well as some retail in the brands you know. If you're in the area ( a ~2-hour drive from the metro Detroit area) for…

After Don's post about missing the crowds of windsurfers, I'd thought I'd post this. If you haven't seen it, it's the trailer to Andre Paskowski's last film, Below the Surface. Check out what Robbie Naish has to say at about 2:40 into the trailer. And hey, why not pick up a copy for Christmas. You can get it through Side-Off Video.…
