Yes and in the intitial step he is not even planing just looks to be well powered. Hope you get some practice in at the end of the month. I guess you'll have them wired by the time you get back???? Let us know how it goes.

Yeah, the *don't get hurt* part is what's really cool about this.  Also, did you notice that he always initiates by starting the jibe.

I am glad I saw this. Definatley gives me something to work on this spring! I liked it because it looks to be a safe method of approaching the all elusive loop. We have all thought about it and everytime we start to make an attempt we always chicken out! Good thing too as I found out we are doing everything wrong, first off its done off the back of a wave rather than the face. Seems going off the face will put you in jeoprody fast. Last year I tried to get more comfortable with launching off wave backs but to do this you must get really far upwind and it still seemed impossible. This new method seems (at least while I am sitting here high and dry) much easier and safer not to mention I really like the progression and almost anyone can practise some of these steps.

Not sure if I should have posted this.  This was posted a year or so ago and the ContinentSeven folks asked that it be pulled for copyright infringement.   It's back up?  It's really good though, so enjoy.
