Who needs money when you can go windsurfing! That's not a question. Peter Francis Wilkinson apparently earned a Master's Degree in Philosophy by becoming a "complete participant" in the windsurfing culture and then writing about it! See for yourself on SurferToday.com. Or, if you want, you can read the thesis: 02_whole.pdf
Don, You're right about that. We had one day "off" this spring and everyone went to the shops and came back with something!

Interestingly in Hatteras this spring when there was no wind for several days, it was amazing how much shoping we all did for windsurfing equipment. I think the windsurfing shops somewhat like the down time as it is their time to make some cash
ps we misssed it last night.! we were in the midst of moving our ski boat at around 6 when it began to blow, 20knots by 7 and close to 30 b y dark. Hard call rigging though, as it was increasing so rapidly and it's so hard to rig a 5.0 when it looks 6.5 but of course by the time you get the 6.5 rigged it's almost too much.. would have been a great direction here straight on shore. They said the water temp in St. CVlair yesterday was almost 68 deg F.
