Thanks Don,
I have some additonal GoPro video from the trip that I will be putting together soon:)
Now I am definately going through withdrawals!! Good job!
We did have a great week:) Windy all 7 days:)
Most of this video was recorded in 60 frames per second. Frame blending was suppose to reduce the jerky part of the video when I reduced frame rate from 60 to 30 frames per second for YouTube. If you go to
http://youtu.be/n2T-2wRrstI you will see the same video with Frame blending "on" which in my opinion was causing double images in the back ground and on the subject. When you pause the video, you will see this double image. Might look okay for most when you play at normal speed but I can see the double images in the back ground when I play at normal speed.
BTW, recording at 60 frames per second is great for jumps which I then slow down to 1/2 speed for the video. Since most TV/players max out at 30 frames per seciond, half the of the recorded 60 frames gets thrown out during the encoding.
Jim,
Great video. You'll have to explain "no frame blending" though.
BTW, you guys took all the wind. I was there last week and sailed for three hours! Worst week for wind ever in Hatteras.
