Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan
/Bad Day!
Bad Day
I went to pack up my gear this morning and bingo a spring breaks on the garage door in the closed position.
Called Anchor garage doors and they said they could have a man out by 11 am. Hmmmm... OK lifting the door open by myself is almost impossible.
At 11 am it is blowing 23 on St. Clair, great!!!
Guy gets here and has the door fixed by 12:30 meanwhile as he is fixing I am loading.
Quickly run up to stop 26, looks great, rig up a 5.5 and just as I am entering the water the wind is shifting NW so now the island is blocking most of the wind.
A quick trip out to Belle River and, guess what they are doing major work on the beach so no parking no access.
Take Notre Dame as far as the Ruscom trying to find some access. ACCESS DENIED!!!!
Ok back to BeachGrove of course the wind has died and there is not a white cap to be seen. OK Bye-bye
Back home to unload and type this guess what I find when I hit spell check the computer is deleting my whole message and showing it as being sent. Great!!!
Of course sittng here I can hear the wind building outside now. Wonder how many e-mails I thought I sent but did not over the last few days. Don

On days like that, you can only take some (maybe not much) comfort in all the good days you've had on the water lately.
