Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

Hi All,

Trying to get BACK into the scene this season to mix in with the kiting sessions. Bought some great gear at Windance online - 2 Northwave Surflight sails, Chinook wave booms and a sweet Naish 75 ltr wave....then I get an email from them saying "OH Sorry we just sold that 75 ltr Naish an hour ago....while your order was in the queue.....want to buy a different board for many hundreds more?"

Hell no I DON"T. A total Bait and Switch there my friends......at least that's how I feel about it.

So anyone out there looking to part with a nice but fair price wave board?

Naish

JP

RRD

Drops

My pain threshold is low....I'm looking for a $100 to $200 deal.

A board made in the early to mid 2000's before they got all fat and inflated.

Hey! I still have your tiny seatread you gave me when i broke my broad in half! It was a very generous lend as it got me back on the water because you knew that times where tight for me. The board rocks and i have had some amazing times on it, i've kept it in good shape for you. Brother it has been to long, where have you been. hope to see you soon. wendell g.

Oh thanks Wendell,

No need to give up your little rippy board. Thanks for the generous offer.

It's yours now and you'll need it when it gets into 4.7 mode. Bobby Degrandchamp is lending me his RRD wave pro 85ltr for the season.

I got a nice hook up from Windance with some sails. 3.7, 4.2, 4.7 Nortwave surflites....super nice sails. Also got a 400 rdm mast and a pair of booms.

So a few more things and I'm back in the windsurfing hunt.....that is when it's blowing 4.7 and down...thats when it gets fun for me....kiting still rules for most of the condiditons we get here,BUT I have been missing all kinds of good sailing oportunities inland when it howling out of the west and dead on the big lake...lots of days like that this spring so far....ripping inland...4.2 only to hae it pretty light on the coast...but that will soon change.

SO glad to hear from you Wendell.

I miss you guys. looking forward to getting out on the water with all you guys....and then some beers and fun stuff afterwords. Keep me in the loop if it gets to blowin out there.

E.

I was wondering when this would happen.  Welcome back, even if it is only part time!
