Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

Just a reminder that the Cass Lake Swap Meet is this Saturday.  Check the Events at the top left corner of the home page.

I'm down in cold, windless, and foggy/rainy Hatteras this week.  It's colder down here than back home in MI!  However, I had my first session this afternoon.  I was fully lit to OP'd on a 5.8m2/105L kit all evening and into darkness by the time my gear was back in the van.   Sailed down at Frisco Woods,  and there were only about 10 WS'ers out.   The wind has been consistently NE, which is sorta weird, and so you can never judge the sound-side conditions from the beach.  I was ready to put up a 6.5m2 and 115L board until I saw people coming in on 4.X m2 sails telling me they had plenty.

A great start to my season (despite being colder than home)!

But the water temperature in St.Clair today is 52 deg F. I'd still rather be where you are despite the air temps!! Have a great week!
