Has anybody sailed Huthcins lake near fennville if so where would you launch from

Hey Jim just saw this post otherwise I would have responded earlier. I've sailed Hutchins in the early spring a few times, like late March with winds west/southwest and west/northwest. Lake Michigan was too cold and too onshore so Hutchins worked great. there is public access from the east and south sides of the lake. Rig BIG. It will be holely. I've had some great times there. Fairly clean water. Your other option when Lake Michigan is too onshore or cold is Lake Mac. in Holland, but the water quality is beyond nasty.

Thanks Wendell, I was there about 3 weeks ago but didnt sail that was the weekend we had those 30 plus winds Oval had some 6-7 foot swells going on And Hutchins was all chop  didnt sail went to the winery
