Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

Spent the afternoon at Michigan City (IN) yesterday.  It's about the only place you can sail a strong westerly on the southern 2/3 of Lake Michigan.  By late afternoon the onsite station was reading 33~40 knots.  Waves were gnarly since there was a NW swell coming in along with the W swell from the building wind.  Very confused (and BIG) chop outside, and really nasty shorebreak that was tough to break through.  I posted a few pictures  :-)

Great pics Drew!   The wide-angle lens tends to flatten the water, so there must have been some good size swell.
