OABI BEACH FEST – Saturday August 9th
PADDLE | LIVE MUSIC | CRAFT BEER | FOOD TRUCKS
OABI is the first-ever paddle event and festival of its kind to take place in Detroit. No experience needed, OABI features the “paddlerama exhibition” featuring a series of onsite classes, demonstrations, contests, and sprint competitions as well as a featuring a seven-mile race around the island for experienced paddlers & racers presented by Outdoor Action Company. OABI will also feature live music, craft beer, food trucks, local vendors and much more. Event attendees will have the opportunity to check out and try an array of new stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and crew throughout the festival grounds.
Green Veil Outdoor is pleased to present, in partnership with Grand Circus Media, Ashore, Detroit Surf Co, and Detroit River Sports, OABI BEACH FEST, taking place on the shores of Belle Isle Beach, Detroit on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
