Early Spring Lake Lansing
It was a long winter, but when the ice finally melted the season started with two 4.2 days, March 30 and April 4, 2015. Bob was first on the water (that I know of) March 30. This footage is Larry and me on 4.6 and 4.2, with Amy and I on the camera. The water was 48 degrees so I went for full coverage with O’Neill drysuit, 2mm hood, 5mm booties, and Dakine mitts both days and stayed warm. Spotted the F-22 practicing for an airshow over Melbourne, FL a couple weeks earlier. Chorus frogs and spring peepers were recorded at Nancy Moore Park.
