Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

Considering a new 4 batten sail, in a 4.3--4.5m size.

Any thoughts .. from the descriptions they don't sacrifice much while being very light and maneuverable

My thinking is once larger they "could' lose some and be wobbly, loose and not so attractive as a 5batten sail, so try the smaller size which I need to now replace irregardless

Purchased a Ezzy 2013 Elite, 4Batton  in 4.0m, used enough already and very pleased, this has the new rigging guide and it works well. The Elite series is more sensitive to using a combo mast, ie 340/370 to achieve the correct setting, never tried a straight 370, so it should work, the guide will be off, it is moveable.

Compare to  a 4.5 Tiger is very similar in low end , lighter in feel, and feels very typical Ezzy. It may not, need some more time to test, but may not have  the top end range and become OP sooner than a 5 batten Ezzy. Tired testers will cloud the results !!
