Hatteras Trip

Returned last night from a short trip to Hatteras. Had five sailing days and sailed all five days on small gear (for a 200 lb-er). I used my 5.8m2 two days and my 4.8m2 three days, and really needed a 3.5 m2 on Friday. Casey Treichler, of the Reef Warriors, stopped by the Secret Spot on Friday night, bearing gifts! Just a reminder that the Cass Lake Swap Meet is this Saturday. Check the Events at the top left corner of the home page.I'm down in cold, windless, and foggy/rainy Hatteras this week. I used to sail long time ago (last sailed in 1997) at Stoney creek and Orchard lake. I am planning to get back to Windsurfing and introduce my son (19) and daughter (16) to this wonderful sport. Once a Michigander, always a Michigander. I grew up right on Lake Michigan about 1 mile north of the Holland pier. I taught windsurfing for the Surf Shop in Holland. I started windsurfing in 1980.
