I can't wait to see what it maxed out at on the wind graph tomorrrow. Annabel and I were both there around 11 am and in the water by 11.30. I on 6.5 and 100 ltrs and she on 6.0 and 92 we sailed well powered for several hours and then stopped for a lunch break while it lulled a bit and then went back at er hard after lunch as it powered bvack up and sailed till at least 3pm. Great Day all in all. Fellow sailers Tony, Les, Ryan, Peter, Steve,, and Paul, as well as a bunch of kiters and oh Yeah Collin and his son, and several other windsurfers that I don't know there names w ere there, good turnout and lots of sore muscles as days end, but it's good sore and the best part was the forecast had been disapointingly down graded this morning so no one really expedcted it was going to be this good.
Yeah baby!!! It was twenty gusting twenty five most of the day. Except when we took our lunch break. This week is looking great there as well. Tuesday and Thursday afternoons look good but of course this may change yet.
Don,
Several of the SE MI folks headed to Metro Beach, but were pretty much skunked - light winds, up and down. I finally went out on my 8.0 just to get my ankles wet after little/no sailing for the past month.
