Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

Just a note to make people aware. Ann and I ordered a JP Funboard low wind board a few weeks ago, but upon trying to assemble the base to the board we found the bolts in the plate were not quite long enough. I did a quick e-mail to Andy at Chinook and he said somwe people were having issues with JP's mast track being just a bit too deep. He said they have cap nut stainless steel bolts with the hex head available for $!.50 ea plus shipping that are about 1/4 inch longer than the standard ones. I ordered four and they arrived yesterday and to our delight fit wonderfully well. I am using the other 2on an older starboard carve 85 ltr that we have also had some issues with when rigging the mast track plate.

Great to find such an easy solution for a change!!!!!!!!!!!
