Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

Great Rondeau Bay day yesterday!! I arrived at about 10 am to 5.0 t0 5.5 conditions. rigged my new Hucker 5.6 and immediately planed out very powered up. I sailed for about an hour and took a quick water (re-hydrate) break back out and sailed near the top end of the power grid for that sail for about another hour, came in for a quick lunch and re -rig to 4.6 and back out again. Sails ranged from 5.5 to 3.7 (Les). Knocked off at about 3 pm and drove the hour home to supper and hot tub. Bonus this time was I did not hit the huge storm pushing the wind towards us which really devastated parts of the County here and took down a few trees in our neighborhood as well. Hot tub and memories were awesome. About 15 windsurfers and 10 if that kiters! Sorry folks no pictures as the wind was so strong everyone was sailing way, way upwind of the launch area! The kiters were almost fearing coming back on the downwind reaches yesterday!!
