Michigan Windsurfing

Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan

With last week's snow still fresh on my mind, I had not started thinking about windsurfing yet. Fortunately, my wife thinks more clearly than I do. When she saw how windy it was at our house yesterday, she suggested that we check out Lake Lansing. When we got there, Lars and Lisa were already on the water, and a couple others were rigging up.

I rigged a 6.3 and 105 liter RRD and joined the fun. While the wind was up and down (par for the course at Lake Lansing), it was still a good first session of the year. It felt good to clear out the (figurative) cobwebs. I think I counted a total of 6 sailors during the time I was on the water.

Hoping for more warn weather and steady winds...

Pic's please!  I hope it was a day on the water for most.  We were opening the cottage at Caseville, where a south wind does not work and missed it.
