Looking for a Training Rig for my 12 year old son

Hey Erik;
I just joined the site. I live 60 miles west of you in Grand Blanc. I've been to Lakeshore Park (I think that's the name) just north of Port Huron and it looks like off season if might be a good place to sail. So where have you sailed near Port Huron?
