"Tom, If they are greenish, then they are probably G-10 material. Some people sand them and some people just ignore the minor stuff.  I fill chips and dings with epoxy and wet sand back to the original profile.  Minor scratches at the tip…"

" Thanks Dave.  I have the 'blade weed' and the 'surf grass'.   The blade weed sheds weeds better, but I like the surf grass better on my small, higher wind boards."

"True Ames are good.  Just make sure you get one with the fin offset forward of the box."
