thanks. It didn't seem to wobble much.  Seems simple and effective.

Here is a pic of how i mounted the camera. I used an extendable dock hook (i took of the hook), and mounted one of the gopro platforms to the end of the pole. The dock hook works well, b/c you can just twist and extend it, or retract it to get the perfect shot. Then i simply tied the pole to the back part of my boom.
