Wednesday, 6/1/11, Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Metro Beach and Blue Lagoon
Two Session Day.
Part 1
Metro Beach, Wednesday, 6/1/11.
Over/under powered gusty voodoo westerly winds with fun chop hopping if you could time it right.
At least a dozen plus windsurfers.
Session: 2:00-5:00.
Gear: 4.0 Ezzy SE and 84 JP FSW.
Schooled: Staying on and with the board.
Weather: Sunny, 75 degrees, voodoo west winds 5-35 very gusty.
Water: 60 degrees, chocolate brown.
Wind: Gusty West 0-35.
Part 2,
Blue Lagoon, Wednesday 6/1/11. Two session Day, Wrapped it up ay MB and headed to BL. Nice rideable swell on the outside with much steadier winds inside and outside. Session: 6:00-7:30
Gear: 4.0 Ezzy SE and 84 JP FSW.
Schooled: Finally some wave riding.
Weather: Sunny, 75 degrees, winds west 10-35.
Water: 60 degrees, about as good of swell you can get at BL.
Wind: Marine Weather Station at SCS 17-35.
Lesson Learned - when slightly side off at Metro head to Blue Lagoon.
