No weeds, no zebras, no trash, you can actually go barefooted.

Nice stuff indeed. Maybe a new vacation destination. because of the sand I take it there are no weeds or at least very few??

May 30: After 15 windless days the Sleeping Bear area inland lakes lite up. While Empire Beach on Lake Michigan was blowing 5-10 inland the wind was at 5-25.Headed to Glen Lake the" Bonaire of Michigan", shallow, sandy, flat and warm.
Rigged the new 6.0 Ezzy wave panther 2 attached it to the 109 RRD and had a great 3 hour session.
Eighty five degrees with peak-summer water temperatures even had the shorty wet suit on which is a rarity for me.
Great place for schooling - the push tack was the lesson - after some ugly attempts I figured out a lot of practice is still needed.
A surprise session I'll take any day, great mid-summer conditions like this happen only 2-3 times a year for
me.
