Windsurfing & Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Michigan
Windsurf Rentals in MI?
I get this question a lot, so I thought I should put it out there. Does anyone know of a place to rent/borrow windsurfing gear in MI? Two or three people, who will be vacationing in the TC area, want to rent equipment. Can anyone help?
The lack of rental gear certainly is not helping our sport.

Dave and Lisa are the owner/operators of Torch Lake Windsurfing and I've done business with them for 4 years. Good folks with 30+ years of experience windsurfing and teaching. They've got a wide variety of gear to rent. Torch Lake is beautiful and if there is wind it's a great place to ride. Your best bet is to call to set up a time to pickup the gear as the location isn't a storefront. Last I knew payment was cash/check? There was some talk about credit cards but I don't know if they have taken that step yet.

The only one I'm aware of in the TC area is Torch Lake Windsurfing; however, I've no knowledge of their operation other than what's on their site: http://www.torchlakewindsurfing.com/
