Ever wonder who played the Silver Surfer in that 2007 flick, Rise of the Silver Surfer? Well, the Michigan Windsurfing investigative team caught up with him on Saturday at Blue Lagoon. …
This
morning’s early AM models agree on Hurricane Earl’s track and his
effect on Great Lakes wind. The best time
frame seems to be Saturday AM for a W-WNW blow with lots of upper level wind
support. Friday could give a W blow, but that has some gaps in it and may not develop
until late. Like a lot of wind events here, things will be stronger on northern

For the few, the proud and the brave - women windsurfers, that is - there's a new website that you may find interesting: http://www.flowindsurfing.com/ The site even features a "hunk of the month".
I hope everyone got some this weekend! I've posted a few new race and demo events that are coming up in the next month. If anyone wants to report on these, let me know.
I've also added a few links (bottom, right) to some non-commercial windsurfing sites.
Lastly, Scott Haas, from MOWIND (see their link), is looking for people to report from race events on his site. Contact Scott if you're interested.
